The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred around 10:25 a.m. when a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina driven by Candy M. Richards, 36, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.
Richards - who was not wearing her seat belt - was taken by air evac to St. Louis University Hospital. The Lumina was totaled.
