A Coast Guard spokesman in Keokuk, Iowa, said the southbound motor vessel Sharon Wildman ran aground on a dike while towing 16 barges. He said there was a report of a fuel leak but the amount of the leak is unknown. The barges have been secured.

The accident occurred at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday. No one was injured.
