Scanner traffic reporting a pedestrian down on Interstate 55 turned out to be two Missouri Department of Transportation workers fixing the lights near the 96 mile marker, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department.

No one was injured; the workers were simply trying to get better access to do the repairs.
