REPAIRS WILL REDUCE SECTION OF I-55 TO ONE-LANE OF TRAFFIC

A section of Interstate 55 will be reduced to one-lane traffic next week as work continues to replace rough pavement between Sikeston and Benton.

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be working in the northbound lanes Monday and then move to the southbound lanes for the remainder of the week.

Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Warning signs and reduced speed limits will be posted throughout the work zone, MoDOT officials said.
