The American Red Cross announced it had the following shelters open for flood victims in Southeast Missouri as of Sunday morning:

Cape Girardeau County

  • Osage Centre, 1625 N. Kingshighway. Twelve people were in the shelter overnight Saturday.

Stoddard County

  • Advance High School Gym, 201 E. School St. Advance
  • Lighthouse Christian Center Ministries, 13900 State Hwy. 25 North, Dexter

Mississippi County

  • First Baptist Church, 205 Pearl Street, East Prairie
  • First Baptist Church, 301 South Main, Charleston

New Madrid County

  • Morehouse First Baptist Church, 210 Beech St., Morehouse. Twenty-five people were in the shelter Saturday night.

In Southern Illinois, shelters were open at the following locations:

  • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7168 Old Highway 13, Carbondale
  • Shawnee Community College, 8364 Shawnee College Road, Ullin
  • Waldo Baptist Church, 6970 Waldo Church Road, Metropolis
