RECREATION DEPARTMENT SCHEDULES YARD SALE

The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department plans to hold a community-wide yard sale May 18 at the Arena Building.

The sale will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to anyone. Booths can be reserved for $8 and tables and chairs will be provided.

"We will clean up the mess, all you have to do is bring your treasures and man your booth," said Penny Wingerter, recreation coordinator with the department.
