Dr. Linda Dorn, a reading recovery trainer at the University of Arkansas, presented the program, which explained the Arkansas Early Literacy Model.

Several area school administrators and teachers attended the conference. Seven reading recovery teachers from the area are trained to use the program in their schools.
The group's next meeting will be Jan. 13 at Jackson Middle School.
