Two Cape Girardeau sisters got more than a trim.
Makala Lopez, 8, and Latavish Lopez, 12, had their long hair cut off Wednesday afternoon at Marilyn's Hair Salon at 125 N. Main.
The two girls donated their hair to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for children who have cancer.
Marilyn Pind, who operates the beauty shop, said Locks of Love requires at least a 10-inch swatch of hair.
"There aren't that many with that much hair that they are willing to give up," she said.
