Preparing for Mississippi River bridge work

Thirty truckloads of concrete barriers will be used to barricade the right eastbound lane of Highway 74 across the bridge. The closure will allow contractors through MoDOT to begin building scaffolding on the side of the bridge towers for routine concrete repair on the surface of the towers. Work on the bridge is expected to last most of the year.
