Portion of southbound I-55 in Cape County reduced to one lane

A section of southbound Interstate 55 from Route KK to U.S. 61 in Cape Girardeau County has been reduced to one lane while MoDOT crews perform pavement repairs. Work began at 7 a.m. today and will continue through 4 p.m. Friday, weather permitting. The work zone will be marked with signs.
