Cape Girardeau police are looking for a vandal they say has broken into common areas of several apartment buildings, defecated in hallways and stolen money from coin machines in laundry rooms.

Cape Girardeau police public information officer Darin Hickey said the vandalism has occurred at apartment buildings on Watkins Drive, North Frederick Street and another location.

Anyone with information about who may be responsible for the vandalism is asked to call Cape Girardeau police at 335-6621.
