IRWIN, Pa. -- Authorities say a man stole several police badges while he was being held for questioning in a domestic dispute. Police said Robert Dingeldein, 26, stole the badges Oct. 30 while being questioned by police. Police said they didn't realize Dingeldein had taken anything from the office until someone else returned one of the badges last month. Police said Dingeldein has apologized and returned three other badges. He faces a preliminary hearing May 18 on theft-related charges.
