Person in Cape hit by train
Around 7:50 p.m. Friday, someone was struck by a train at the lower circle of East Cape Rock Drive in Cape Girardeau, said Sgt. Barry Hovis, spokesman for the police department. The person was conscious and the injuries did not appear life-threatening, Hovis said.
