PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- The Perryville Board of Aldermen "removed City Administrator Bill Lewis from office" following a closed session meeting Tuesday night, according to a news release from the city government.
Lewis told the Southeast Missourian last week that he felt his job was in jeopardy and that the city had plans to hire an outside consultant to review his job performance. Lewis was city administrator for the last six years.
