PERRY HOSPITAL ADDS POISON CARE

Perry County Memorial Hospital has joined the Missouri Poison Network, based at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis.

Through its membership, the hospital has expanded so it can treat emergency department patients for accidental poisoning, drug overdose and all types of chemical accidents.

The hospital staff recently participated in an orientation and training session conducted by a representative of the poison center.
