PERRY COUNTY MAN DIES WHEN CAR OVERTURNS

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- A 22-year-old man died in a one-car accident Wednesday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

Thomas J. Slinger of 3855 County Road 415 in Perry County was driving south on U.S. 51 at about 7:15 a.m. when his car traveled off the right side of the road and overturned, the Highway Patrol said.

Slinger was transported to St. Francis Medical Center by helicopter. He later died.
