All the candidates who filed for offices registered as Republicans. The offices are associate commissioner District 1 and District 2, sheriff, assessor, public administrator, coroner and surveyor.

The candidates filing for office are:
- associate commissioner District 1 — Jay Wengert;
- associate commissioner District 2 — Damon Lee Dillard, Keith Hoehn, Rocky Schumer and Douglas Martin;
- sheriff — Jason Klaus;
- assessor — Charles H. Triller;
- public administrator — Janelle French Moore;
- coroner — Meghan Ellis and William “Bill” Bohnert;
- surveyor — Timothy J. Baer.
The primary election filing closes at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 26.
