EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) -- Eastbound lanes of a Mississippi River bridge linking Illinois to Missouri are back in business after being closed when a man's body was found on the span.

East St. Louis police say the man may have been hit by a car near the east end of the Eads Bridge connecting St. Louis to East St. Louis.

His body was found early Thursday.
