@graphic_body_bullet:n Parents Without Partners will host contra dance lessons for children from 7 to 9:30 p.m. March 1. Attendees should meet at Christ Episcopal Church, 101 N. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau.

• Line dance lessons will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. March 5, 12, 19 and 26 at Eagles Aerie 3775, 321 N. Spring Ave. in Cape Girardeau. Beginner lessons are at 6 p.m. The event is open to the public, and there is a cost.
• PWP will have a general meeting/orientation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 7 at Riverside Regional Library, 204 S. Union Ave. in Jackson. The event is free and open to the public. The educational program will be a video presentation titled "Mission Possible," a look at Uganda orphanages. Attendees are invited to bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards.
• A "Let's Eat Out" gathering will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 11 at Broussard's Restaurant, 120 N. Main St. in Cape Girardeau. Attendees will pay for their own meals.
• PWP will host a singles' support group from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 14 at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards, including Texas Hold 'Em.
• A St. Patrick's singles' dance sponsored by PWP will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight March 15 at the VFW in Cape Girardeau. The event is open to the public, and singles and couples are welcome. Admission is discounted for members. The music will be by J & K Sound System.
• A family activity will be held at 1 p.m. March 16 at CiCi's Pizza in Cape Girardeau. An afternoon at Cape County Park with kite flying is planned afterward. The event is free to members' children or up to two grandchildren 18 years of age and younger. Bring your own kite.
• PWP will have a board/orientation meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 21 at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play games.
• PWP will host a singles' support group from 7 to 9 p.m. March 28 at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards.
• PWP will meet at 12:30 p.m. March 29 at Texas Roadhouse in Cape Girardeau for lunch and then visit the Home and Garden Show at the Show-Me Center. The event is open to the public. Attendees will pay for their own meals and admission to the Home and Garden Show.
