The Cape Girardeau chapter of Parents Without Partners has released its schedule of events for the month of June.

  • Line dance lessons will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. June 4, 11, 18 and 25 at Eagles Aerie 3775, 321 N. Spring Ave. in Cape Girardeau. Beginner lessons are at 6 p.m. The events are open to the public.
  • PWP will hold a general meeting/orientation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 6 at Riverside Regional Library, 204 S. Union Ave. in Jackson. The educational program on Native American Heritage will be open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a prospective member and stay to play cards.
  • PWP will host a singles support group from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 13 at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a prospective member and stay for friendship and games.
  • A singles dance will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight June 14 at the VFW hall in Cape Girardeau. The event is open to the public, and singles and couples are welcome. Admission is discounted for members. The music will be by Charlie's Review.
  • PWP will hold a board/orientation meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 20 at Riverside Regional Library in Jackson. This is a planning meeting and there is no cost. For suggestions, contact a board member.
  • PWP will meet at 6 p.m. June 21 at Delmonico's Restaurant, followed by an 8 p.m. movie at Jackson City Park Shelter No. 1. The event is free.
