St. Francis Medical Center is today observing National Orthopedic Nursing Day.
Orthopedics is a branch of medicine that focuses on a variety of musculo-skeletal conditions. Orthopedic physicians and nurses work with patients who suffer from an array of degenerative, traumatic, inflammatory, neuromuscular, skeletal, metabolic and oncologic disorders.
