CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Central High School orchestra will perform a benefit concert tonight at 7 p.m. at the Central High Auditorium.
Orchestra director Melvin Gilhaus said the proceeds will go toward a planned concert tour to Washington D.C. later this month.

Admission to the concert is free, but donations toward the trip will be accepted.
The orchestra will play selections planned to be performed during the tour.
It will last about an hour.
