Ohio man suffers serious injuries in accident on I-55

An Ohio man received serious injuries on Tuesday from a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County. William M. Rector, 28, of Newark, Ohio, was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center. The accident occurred at 11:15 a.m. on southbound I-55 a half mile south of Fruitland.
