Jennifer A. Layton, a student at Notre Dame High School, has been selected to attend the 10th annual Missouri Scholars Academy June 12-July 2 at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
The academy is a residential program for 330 of Missouri's gifted students who are ready to begin their junior year in high school.
Each public and private school in Missouri may nominate one sophomore student. Larger schools have the option of nominating more than one student according to enrollment.
