A morning fire in a Cape Girardeau apartment this morning left a structure damaged, but didn't result in injuries. The fire happened around 11 a.m. at 501 S. Middle St.

The fire happened around 11 a.m. at 501 S. Middle St. Firefighters on the scene said no one was home at the time, and the cause of the fire hadn't yet been determined.
