Cape Girardeau County's no-burn advisory was lifted Thursday.
The weeklong advisory was put into effect by the county commission when a combination of high temperatures, low humidity, dry ground cover and high-speed winds increased the fire danger in the county.
Rainfall throughout the week helped alleviate the dry conditions in the area.
