NEWSLINE: CITY SCHOOLS WILL START LATE TODAY

The Cape Girardeau public schools will be in session today, but will begin two hours later than usual, school officials said.

The Cape Girardeau secondary schools will start classes at 9:45 a.m., and elementary schools will begin at 10:15 a.m. Buses will run two hours late in the morning, but classes will let out at the regular time.

Cape Girardeau Head Start, Cape Christian, Jackson R-2, Immaculate Conception in Jackson, Delta R-5, Scott City R-1 and Westminster Pre-School will be closed today.
