Smiling her approval of this French twist hair fashion, and wishing it were her own wig, Mrs. Noel J. Fischer, 420 North Sunset, models a silver blonde hair piece (costing about $75). The beautician, Mrs. Mary Niswonger, is wearing a human hair switch (ginger shade) to match her short hair. From Judy Sneathen: The playground was next to what is now Brandt Music Hall. These flowers were planted in front of the playground. The "gum tree" there now would have been a part of her garden. I attended her kindergarten for both 4 and 5 year olds, however, I do not recognize any of the children in the picture."
