One New York household decided to comment on the commercialization of Christmas by decorating the front of their brownstone with a deranged Santa slaughtering Barbie dolls. The scene depicts Saint Nick hiding behind a tree, holding a disembodied head with blood streaming from its eyes.

"Christmas has religious origins," Joel Krupnik told the New York Post. "It's in the Bible. Santa is not in the Bible. He's not a religious symbol."
