MOUNDS TEEN DIES IN WRECK

MOUNDS, Ill. -- A 16-year-old Mounds boy was killed early Sunday morning in a single-car accident in Pulaski County.

Terry G.V. Forbes, 16, was killed when the vehicle he was driving left the road as he was southbound on Illinois 37 in rural Pulaski County.

The vehicle ran off the left side of the road where it hit a sign, then continued on and struck a tree, according to the Illinois State Police. The accident was still under investigation Sunday afternoon.
