Motorists suffer injuries in single-car accident
Two Jackson residents were transported by ambulance to Southeast Missouri Hospital Wednesday after the car they were riding in ran off the road and hit a highway sign. The accident occurred on Highway 177, 10 miles north of Cape Girardeau. A Missouri State Highway Patrol report released Thursday showed Justin Ford, 19, and Beverly Ford, 38, received moderate injuries but driver David Hendrix, 42, left the scene. The extent of his injuries was unknown...
