Cape Girardeau police and ambulance personnel responded to a motorcycle crash just after noon Wednesday on William Street near Bank of America and KFC. According to scanner traffic the man driving the motorcycle was having trouble breathing after the crash. Eastbound lanes on William Street were closed while crews cleaned up and investigated the accident. The man, police said, was transported to an area hospital.
