If you or someone you know has been wanting to have the chance to try and make “American Idol” history, you will get your chance later this week.
Officials with “American Idol” announced there will be open call auditions Friday, Sept. 6, for people in Missouri wanting to sing in front of a judge via Zoom.
The Zoom call will take place with a show producer who will give real-time feedback.
This is the fifth year for “Idol Across America”, the live virtual nationwide search for the next superstar that features audition days for all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
During the Missouri auditions, show alum Mackenzie Sol will join contestants in the waiting room for a Q&A, audition tips and more.
Those wishing to audition must be born before Feb 15, 2010.
