MILLERSVILLE -- A Millersville man was killed Wednesday afternoon from injuries sustained while trying to break up a fight between two horses in a pasture, according to Cape Girardeau County Coroner John Carpenter.

Robert Cook, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene at about 3:20 p.m. by the coroner.
Carpenter said death was instantaneous.
