Cape man deploys to Afghanistan
Maj. Paul Bond of Cape Girardeau will deploy to Afghanistan on March 13. His tour will last from six to 24 months. Bond enlisted in the Army as a private on Feb. 14, 1977. After serving six years, he enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard. He has served 28 years. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bond of Cape Girardeau. Paul and his wife are members of Centenary United Methodist Church.
