Kelli Visser, 32, of Grand Blanc, Mich., was treated and released from Southeast Missouri Hospital for injuries she sustained when a deer ran into the side of her vehicle.
Visser was northbound early Sunday morning on Highway 61 in Scott County, two miles north of Benton. According to state police reports, a large deer ran onto the road and struck the Visser auto.
Visser was one of several deer-related accidents reported across the state over the weekend.
