MENZ EARNS RIDING AWARD

Angie Menz of Cape Girardeau recently earned an award from the American Quarter Horse Association Horseback Riding program.

Menz earned the award -- a recognition patch and halter -- for logging 50 hours of riding. Additional awards are given for reaching the 100- and 250-hour levels.

The riding program is sponsored by a Tulsa, Okla., western store and recognizes association members for time spent riding.
