Man shot in the leg in Cape Girardeau

Cape Girardeau police and first responders responded to a report of a man being shot in the leg Tuesday night.

According to dispatcher radio reports, a man suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg near 55 N. Pindwood Lane about 10:15 p.m. and was being treated at the scene.

Dispatchers advised officers and rescuers of a possible fight close to the area before the shooting.

Officers continued to investigate Tuesday night.
