ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Two men have been sentenced for their roles in the death of a former Wentzville alderman.
Jonathan Riggs, 22, was sentenced in St. Charles County Circuit Court Friday to life plus 45 years in prison. Riggs suffocated Joseph Edward Walsh on Aug. 11, 2002, by wrapping his head in duct tape. Riggs' former roommate, Jon Conderman, 19, also was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison.
