ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A 23-year-old is charged in the shooting of a mailman in St. Louis.
Authorities say Adrian Mabry is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. He is jailed on $200,000 bond.
Mailman Terry Marcrum was shot in the shoulder and the back of his head Monday afternoon. He was in fair condition on Wednesday.
Police have not disclosed a motive, but detectives do not believe the shooting was gang-related.
