Several Charter Communications customers wait outside the Cape Girardeau office Monday to pick up all-digital converter boxes. With the switch by Charter from analog to digital service, those without the set-top box will see a black screen as of today. One person in line said she has five TV sets and each will require a box. Another commented that she watches five channels. Each customer will qualify for at least one free box for the first year, depending on their service package with Charter.
