JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder had a precancerous lesion removed from his face this week.
Kinder spokesman Gary McElyea said Friday that a Jefferson City dermatologist removed the growth from the Republican lieutenant governor's left cheek on Tuesday.
The procedure left a visible scab, but McElyea says Kinder is doing fine.
