BEDFORD, Pa. -- Police say a man left a Pennsylvania Turnpike plaza without claiming a $500 prize from a lottery ticket, only to have another man claim the winnings. Troopers from the Bedford barracks say the man left the voucher on a lottery machine Friday at the South Midway Service Plaza. The man had scanned the ticket to verify his winnings but left with his information on the machine. Another man claimed the winnings and used them to buy $78 worth of tickets and $422 in a money order.
