Local food pantries in need
n The FISH food pantry, 106 Sprigg St., needs for donations of peanut butter, and welcomes other food donations, said Gil Degenhardt, spokesperson. Donations can be dropped off between 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Fridays, except holidays. n The Jackson Ministerial Food Pantry is at 225 S. High St. in Jackson. - Cape Girardeau Salvation Army accepts canned items and dry goods, said office manager Jackie Fluegge. The pantry is open for donations and to serve those in need Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., she said.
