LOCAL ARTISTS WINS BEST OF SHOW AWARD AT FESTIVAL

Cape Girardeau artist Judi Brey was awarded the first place "Award of Excellence" for her display of water color paintings at the 1993 Missouri Spring Festival of Art.

The event was held at the Greenfelder Center in Queeny Park in Manchester, Mo. It was sponsored by the Greater St. Louis Art Association.

Brey's entry was one of 140 entries from artists and fine crafts people from around the Midwest, who participated in the juried and judged art show.
