List of weather-related closures

Below is a list of weather-related closures in the local area.

We will be updating it throughout the day, so please check back periodically for the latest information at semissourian.com.

If you need to get the word out about an unanticipated, weather-related shutdown, please email ljones@semissourian.com. Information will be added in the order it is received.

• City of Cape Girardeau: Closed today are the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport, the city Transfer Station, City Hall, Public Works/Customer Service Area, A.C. Brase Arena, Osage Centre and Shawnee Park Center. The City Council will not meet tonight as previously scheduled.
• Tonight's Kiwanis Bingo at Bingo World in Cape Girardeau is canceled.
• Springleaf Financial at 242 S. Silver Springs Road in Cape is closed today.
• The office at Anytime Fitness in Cape Girardeau is closed today. However, the gym is open to members as usual.
• All transportation services from the Cape County Transit Authority have been suspended until at least 5 a.m. Tuesday.
• Southeast Missouri State University is closed.
• Fruitland American Meat in Jackson is closed. Please call Tuesday before stopping by.
