A ribbon-cutting will take place today to celebrate the completion of the Linden Street widening and reconstruction project.

The improvements stretch from West End Blvd. to South Sprigg Street. Lappe Cement Finishing Inc. was the contractor for the $440,927 project funded by motor fuel sales tax.

The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. at the Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center.
