Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Limbaugh is the new chairman of the board of directors for the Cape Girardeau/Bollinger County Major Case Squad, the city of Jackson reported Friday.
The board elected Limbaugh on Thursday to succeed Jackson Police Chief James Humphreys as its chairman, according to a news release by the city.
The squad, which formed in 1983, brings together officers from multiple jurisdictions to investigate serious crimes, including homicides.
