The driver of a Ford Taurus was taken to a hospital Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 after a one-vehicle accident on Lexington Avenue just west of the roundabout in Cape Girardeau. According to Cape Girardeau police, the driver, who was westbound on Lexington, traveled through the roundabout before the car crashed into a guard rail on the bridge, east of the North Kingshighway intersection.
