KENNETT, Mo. -- Allan Branum of Kennett, who is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action, appeared Tuesday in Division II of the Dunklin County Circuit Court.
He waived his arraignment, and his case was continued to July 1, said prosecuting attorney Stephen Sokoloff.
Branum is accused of shooting his wife, Regena Branum, on May 22 during an argument at their home. She died at a Memphis, Tennessee, hospital the next day.
